I can't see the partition in vista

Hi everyone!
I had never had problems with my sd card an his two partitions (I had to make them because is a 8Gb card) in my computer (windows xp).
But I'm now in my brothers house an his computer (windows vista) doesn't see the second partition (the one with the pictures).
Anyone can give me some hints about how to make vista recognize that second partition?
Thank you all for your help and congratulations about the great forum.
Miguel

Windows with it's original drivers never let you access any partition than the first.

You can
- install a modified hard disc driver to let Windows work with partitioned removable media
(as you've got it on your XP computer)
- swap the partitions to switch between the first & the second partitions, either in the camera (model
dependent) or with a software tool (e.g. the SDM Installer)
- use a operating system that supports multi partitioned SD cards directly, e.g. all Linux distros do this

You should also be able to transfer your JPG images directly with a USB connection.

If you don't need the CHDK autoboot, you can use the full capacity of the card with a single
8GB FAT32 partition (use the firmware update loading method).

Installing a driver in Windows don't change anything on the SD card  ;)

You should add your camera model to your signature...
When there's the "Swap partitions" item in the CHDK "Misc" or "Debug" menu, you can swap the partitions in the camera (model dependent).

You can also use the SDM installer from here (it's included in the 'common_files.zip' package) to swap the partitions, read more on this page.
