Hey, since the USB interface supports the DPOF printing, does that mean the hardware supports HOST mode?  Could we use an A-A (or is it B-B) adapter and connect a USB drive to the USB connector, then copy/back-up images to the drive?

Possible?

Would be indeed nice, but I don't think somebody is so friendly to write an usb-driver for powershot,
and I'm quite sure that you would need an additional adapter to get the 5V on pin 1 and 4.
