It will be useful to specify script (maybe place it in special dir, or add to config), which will be launched on each startup.

For example, SX1 IS starts with CHDK only in playback mode, if i want to start it in shooting mode, i have to choose special script (which pushes the "shoot" button) and mark autoload option.
BUT after using another script i must do it again and again... annoying

SDM does that if a script named 'Startup.bas'  exists in the Scripts folder.

Your last-used script will still be loaded and available for immediate use.
