Is the Zebra/Histogram overexposure warning based on the 8 Bit JPEG or 10 Bit RAW File?
(I would like to have this 10 Bit RAW based.)

Neither the first nor the second. It's based on the 8bit 4:1:1 YUV live preview picture (360x240 for zebra; 180x240 for histogram).
