I noticed a strange behaviour on my camera the other day (SD780IS / Ixus 100IS)
Normally the camera in continuous shooting takes around 1 shot per second. It says so on the manual and reviews, and seems about right.
But if I set the shooting mode to ISO 3200, it takes from 3 to 4 shots per second on continuous shooting. I know that pictures are reduced to 1600x1200, but I tried to replicate image size and exposure time on "program mode", and still got the usual 0.8-1 fps. I also tested different ISO speeds, and turning IS off...
Has anyone else noticed this? Any luck trying to increase the speed? I have a high speed sdhc card, formatted by the camera, so speed is not the problem. It was amazing seeing the camera shooting that fast, and I believe it could do it in higher resolutions if it wanted to. I hope CHDK can do something about it when its ready for this model.
