Is it possible to control the camera from the PC?

Is it possible to download pictures from the sd card to the PC without any action on my part?

I want to have a script (or something) that downloads all images to my hard drive and then deletes the images from the SD card.  This way I can time lapse capture weeks at a time.

Yes, the uBasic command 'upload_images_for' followed by a time in seconds.

I do not know how you do it in CHDK, maybe someone else can tell you that.
