the best would be to have a fellow G9-100d user check this out, but failing that you could

maybe try another SD card (if you have one ...)

wim

edit: on the off chance off a fluke on the autobuild server i compiled you a fresh bootdisk.bin
maybe you can try that (just replace existing on your card)
(this works only if you use the auto boot method, of course)

edit2: sh*t wrong firmware version - fixed

I swapped over the diskboot.bin and it only goes as far as lighting my shortcut button then stops, i am just about to test another card ;~

A 2mb card done and dusted, with g9-100d-0.9.8-788-full installed and no problem getting into scripts, so it would seem i need to have another go at my 8gb card which had a 2gb partition on it and i am sure i have run scripts on before. Thanks for all the posts :)

I have just cleared the partition

How many partitions do you have ?  Two, one just big enough to hold CHDK in Fat and the other in Fat32

I would check both partitions.
On the first partition you only need DISKBOOT.BIN.
CHDK\SCRIPTS should be on the second partition.

I suspect that you may also have a version of CHDK\SCRIPTS on your first partition.
