Can anyone tell me if there has been any progress on the sporadic raw bug with the IXUS 960IS. I understand that a fix has been identified but it needs implementing individually depending on camera model. The Bug report is here
http://chdk.kernreaktor.org/mantis/view.php?id=298The reason i am so interested is that i have a diving trip coming up in a few weeks and would love more reliable raw performance from my camera. I tend not to use flash (it just causes back scatter in murky UK waters) but also sometime like to just hit the shutter release quickly inthe hope that i might get a good result (sometimes with waves/current its the only option i have)
It would be great if someone could have a look at this for me. I would do it myself only i have absolutley no idea where to begin even.
