RAW workflow for G9 with reasonably accurate color?

Since CHDK doesn't support creation of DNG on the G9 (yet), I've been trying to find a workflow that gives me color from the CRW files that's at least substantially similar to the JPEGs that are created by the camera. I'm using Rawker for conversion, but the color's horrible.

Has anyone out there found the "magic bullet" for this? If so, can you point me in the right direction?

I don't understand that. Firstly why would you use CHDK on a camera that already shoots in RAW and why not just assign a profile that you like, or create one during the RAW conversion?
