Someone succed to dump a GM1.02B ?

I bought one SX20IS with the GM1.02B in the last week, so if no one succeded I will try to do it.

Someone have tryed to replace the RS232 circuit with an arduino (http://www.arduino.cc) ?

I have one here and a photodiode, I think the dump can be made this way.

@neszt: can you send the binaries used to blink your SX20, and describe the procedure used, I do not have the hardware to dump, but I think this can be solved using an arduino.

Very good. I used tape to fix the receiver to the camera, and the original 132 DELAY232 was correct for 9600 bps.

I'm thinking in something to auto adjust the speed in the sensor side.
Like sending during 5 seconds 255 bits (11111111) to calc the delay of the bits and the delay of the gap.
and after send some signature of the start of dump.

With this the arduino can "calibrate" the delay and get the dump after the calibration.

Let's see if I get this working

Hello,
I have tried in every way to download the 1.02b firmware but I failed. :'(
I used CardTricks tried all three systems DryOs, NewDryOs and VxWorks.
NewDryOs only works with but does not save anything on the card.
Someone has downloaded from the camera?

@afrikaa

as you can see in the posts before yours in this thread, caquino is in the process of doing this for your firmware 102b ..
(see reply #90)
the SX20 can not be dumped with udumper (or by CardTricks, which uses udumper)

hth,

wim

Hello,
sorry I did not realize it was already doing.
I wanted to know if you managed to get it.
I'd like to use CHDK with my camera.
Anxiously await further developments.
Goodbye and thanks for your work.

Forgive me for my English.

I have tried the Blinker using your Bin, but the program doesnt start. I have also recompiled it changing the LED address, same thing. LCD displayed "protected card". I used Cardtricks to make a bootable card and copied diskboot.bin on it.
What's wrong with me ?

Thank you for your help.
