Take a look at this: A570, 10 minutes shutter (full moon)
Moonlit flowers

With the A570 you can get an exposure of 2100 seconds, so try that on a dark sky, you should get some pretty star trails.

Ops, Thats over 2 and 3/4 hours.  And way to stop exposure and save? or do i loose it all?

You can't, your camera will lock up on you. Just remove the batteries and try 2100 seconds.
