how to use

1. extract the 350d_iso3200_spot_7cf.zip
2. copy file "AUTOEXEC.BIN" and the folder "config" to your CF card
3. edit the config file x:\config\cfn.txt ( x:\ is your CF card ), see the descriptions inside the file
4. Power On you camera , Press "MENU" then "Zoom-in" to set all these custom functions
5. Press "MENU" then " Zoom-in" again to unset all these custom functions

I don't understand step 3, I can't find the description file. How do I set up the custom functions?

@021311:

Have you unpacked the zip file?

Whereever you unzipped it, look in a folder called "config"..

I have unzipped the file. Just don't know how to turn the funtion on and off.
By that I don't mean step 4 and 5. I meant the flash on and off, IS on and off.

You must change this numbers on top this config "0301100" to change options which are discribe under this numbers ...
example: change first "0" to "1" and this turn off flash and work only AF assist in your camera
Good luck
Only light i need ...

Does ISO changing with INFO->ARROWS work with CF1 set to 4 (cross keys: af frame select)?

Yes it will work. I am using that mode also.
However, it will not work if u press half-shutter for focusing.
But a little practicing, you will get hang of it and appreciate the fast ISO and af point select shooting from 350D.

I am sorry, I'm new at forum.
Where do I get this file?

Thank you very much for hacks with ISO3200 and shutter release count.
I have tried with just purchased 350D and it worked flawlessly.
I would like to try the custum function hack also, but could not find the download link.
Links from other forums brought me to the restricted section.

Thank you in advance.

In light of the difficulty people have in finding the latest version, would it be worth having an up to date list of features, with a link, on the WIKI?
