Hey guys,
I'd like to thank everyone who's contributed to this. I just installed it on my 350D and it runs fine.

I used  bootflg2 to enable the camera to book from CF (http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=4202.0;attach=4318) and 350D-20101011.zip on theCF card (http://download562.mediafire.com/egtxq18xo4ig/uiw46q26dq9ddmm/350D-20101011.zip)

No problems at all.

Just one question - how do I get the Timelapse option to work? I set the timelapse I want, but how do I start taking pictures?
--Edit
Found the answer here : http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=4202.msg54710#msg54710
I had to set the "set" button to something other than "normal" in Custom Function 1

Next question - where can I get a copy of gcc346.zip so that I can try out my own modifications? All the links I've found on this thread are dead and I'd rather not try a different compiler version that the tried-and-true one.

Thanks,
Robert

I found a copy of gcc346.zip here:

http://rapidlibrary.com/index.php?q=350d

But I think after extracting the zip you will need to move your 20101011 folder into the myproject folder and compile from there.

Glad the boot flag thing worked for you.

How do I make this take more than 3 photos?
"5:AEB"; exposure bracketing from +-0 to 6.7 EV in +/- x.0, x.3, x.5, x.7, for x = {0..6}
What buttons do i press?

I don't understand.  If you use bootflg.fir a second time, it should change the boot flag back to the original state.

If you format your CF card in the camera, that will remove all the autoexec files and the card will no longer be bootable.  That will make your camera operate normally.

If you want to reset your camera so it will no longer even look for a bootable CF card, then you could run the bootflg2.fir firmware file found here:

I formatted CF card. everything is working normally. but without the cf card, I don't want to see the ''err cf'' message. this is not a big problem but, I want to fix.  I installed the bootflag again, anything not changed.  thanks

Can the 350D be hacked to exposure longer than 30s with usb cable , not use the shutter release cable ?

Hello,

I have installed the chdk (autoexec.bin) on my camera.
No problems, it works fine.

My question is about the time lapse function.
In fact, you can select the number of photos and a duration.
Instance : 2 x 1s : result = the camera take two photos (every second) and stop.
In this case, it is possible to decrease the duration at 0,5s ??? It will be great.
In advance, lot a thanks.

Ralph
