Guys, first post here. Terrific site, great project.

No problems getting the A590IS to shoot RAW or convert the CRW files to DNG's but during the conversions (in Lightroom 2.5 on the PC) the noise removal doesn't work, or if it does it doesn't work properly - 100% for both colour and luminance noise has almost no effect on the image.

Am I missing something? Is this a known issue? (couldn't find reference to it here)

Effect is visible at 100% zoom image, I think...

I'm not seeing that

If you move the noise reduction sliders in lightroom right across to maximum there is almost no effect, WAY less than with a standard image

dcraw.exe's denoising command line works well too:

-n <num> Set threshold for wavelet

I use it with the RAW (DNG) files I get from a Canon A590IS-101b.
