canon sx110 raw .crw files wont open in photoshop or lightroom?

i just installed the CHDK hack on my Canon PowerShot SX110 IS. I set the file extension to be .crw in the raw parameters on the camera. When i put my card in a card reader i can see the CRW file in the directory of the memory card but when i try to open them in lightroom or photoshop the programms refuse to open the files. Do i have my camera set wrong and if so can some one please help me. Thanks

Not certain, but it may be that the SX110 is similar to the SX10 in that it has native DNG RAW support. If this is the case you need to enable DNG.
