Capture framerate: about 1 FPS
Replay framerate: 16 FPS

Camera: A650 IS
Script: A fast "intervalometer" By Divalent
Computer programs: AviSynth, MeGUI

Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Bicycle: REX Trekking Sport 24

CAMERA SETTINGS:
Resolution: 1600 x 1200
Format: Normal quality JPEG
F-stop: f/8
Exposure time: 1/200 sec
ISO speed: ISO-200
Focal length: 35mm

This is the route i take every day to and from work.
This was pretty simple to make. I put the camera in the cell-phone holder that I've got on the handlebar, and secured it with some rope, since I just wanted to shoot at maximum FPS I used a simple script that uses the built in continuous drive mode but makes it so that you don't have to hold down the button all the time. Because of the continuous drive mode the exposure remains locked, but I think it's more natural than having it change all the time anyway.

Would have been nice to have a faster camera, 1 FPS is pretty poor. On the way back home I compensated by cycling at half speed to get some more frames in, that's why all the other cyclist whizz past me.

Why the hell does it create 2 Vimeo-players???  ???

It is very annoying, it happens every time someone posts a video.

You have to enclose it between '[ noembed]''[ /noembed]'  tags.

I will view it later, it is taking ages to download.

Ah, thanks, fixed it.
About the download speed, it seems like it loads much slower in the embedded player than on the Vimeo site. The HD version on Vimeo loads faster for me than the SD version in the embedded player.

seems pretty logical: they got more ads -> more money -> better faster servers  :D

cheers,

Beautiful city Stockholm is.

Yes, 1FPS is not much but you did well by slowing down the bike. Although it looks funny everybody overtaking you, almost as if you are going backwards.

Can I ask why you chose Vimeo instead of YouTube?

I thought the quality would be better.

I haven't really compared it in detail with YouTubes HD though, so I'm not sure.
