Little advice / new cam SX200 vs G9 ?

Hi,
Can somebody help me a bit about that choice.
I want to buy a new point&shot canon camera.
The G11 and S90 seems really good but it's double the price and lake of some feature like 720p and most important i don't expect chdk come for them until a year or so.
But i can find for a good price (+-250 euro) a new SX200 or an used G9.

SX200
pro : wide angle, zoom 12x, 720p, new
con : "cheaper cam", little sensor, bad lens, not chdk ready but seems in a good way

G9
pro : heavy and "more expensive" cam, bigger sensor, hot shoe, already have chdk
con : no wide angle, zoom "only" 6x, movie mode, old

When i see that kind of test : http://www.lesnumeriques.com/duels.php?ty=1&ma1=1&mo1=668&p1=4842&ma2=1&mo2=369&p2=2330&ph=2
I don't find any great difference in quality between the two cam.

Feature that i love on chdk are (in order): bracketing, slower and faster shutter speed, histogram, zebra, grids, motion detection and many others.
But i see here : http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CameraFeatures  that the g9 with chdk don't do better result on faster shutter speed and "only" 64 sec on slower one. am'i right ?
What do you think that the sx200 could achieve on faster and slower shutter speed ? Is it possible to guess ?
Is a 720p mode on the digic3 g9 is a dream ?

Thx
especially if you can give me your two cents

The sx200 (and g9) could both have much longer exposures, it's just some code that needs to be done for each camera.

Very likely.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
