Hi there.

I just recently found out about this great thing CHDK. I wanted to do some bracketing and make an HDR image and run into some problems.

First of all there is no AV option in the Menu, only TV. And that part is not covered in the guide. So I figured out searching here that it is BC my camera cannot do that and therefore the option is not there. Instead it is ND Filter. Which is not covered in the guide as well.

OK so I went ahead and tried that bracketing and I was, and am, confused. It changes the EV only for the first shot and then the rest is always the same no matter what value I put on Canon Menu EV. For bracket type "+" first shot depend on the situation and EV value on Canon Menu and the rest is always 1", 0.5", 1/4", 1/8"... For bracket type "-" after first shot is always 4", 8", 15"... coz 15" is most what camera can make. If type is "+ / -" then after first shot 4", 1", 8", 0.5"... Step was always 1EV. That's not bracketing. Ah yes, I forgot to mention that I did all that with custom timer, not continuous
Can someone help me please figure this out and how to do this bracketing properly BC obviously it is possible I just don't know how. I also noticed there are some scripts for bracketing but I don't know how to use them. Copy all those in notepad and save as it's stated, .bas and .txt files? Is that right? It's so messed up, like look at this one http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/UBASIC/Scripts:_Bracketing_and_EV_correction.

Man, I can't wait to learn all this. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you were trying to do this in "manual" mode, the next autobuild (#807) may resolve your problem with bracketing.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Ok, thanks, then I'll just wait for the next build. Hopefully this will be the solution.
