Hi! Im kind of new with the chdk program, and i was looking for a link of a sx120 version but found only diffrent files, not like the standart chdk arhive, so could someone link me the correct one and tell me if there is something special with the instalation of it or is it the same like with the other versions.

Start out as though you were loading CHDK for an SX110.  Then change the DISKBOOT.BIN file to the one in this link:

It worked great for me.

Firstly, thanks to all the developers/porters - CHDK is great! I haven't had any issues with the SX120 version yet.

I temporarily enabled SuperFine compression with a 1 line basic script ("set_prop 57 0"), which seems to work well: the JPEG size almost doubles and edge detail is less blurred. I'll try to have a go with the source later, but it looks like it's just a case of setting CAM_QUALITY_OVERRIDE in camera.h to add SuperFine as a proper persistent menu option.

Is it possible to create a PS.FI2 to allow in-camera partition swapping (>4Gb cards)? Is the key for the SX120 known or the same as something else?

@petergovea: the SX120 screen seems to have double the X resolution of Powershots I've seen CHDK on, making the icons and banner appear squashed.

I using the PS.FI2 from the SX110 with a 16 GB. CHDK run and enough memory  :)

@Kraeml: I had no luck with the SX110 ps.fi2. Surely the keys and code would be different?

I enabled SuperFine in camera.h and recompiled version -884. It worked!

I then merged the SX120 changes into the latest -912 version and compiled that with SuperFine too.

I spent a few minutes puzzling over the ps.fi2 key location in the SX120 dump, but got nowhere. ...so it's still just autoboot for now.
