fe50, I tried the build you put up but something's not right.  The exposure is wrong and all the pictures are black.

Does your build have exp_drv_task in taskCreateHook enabled?  I had to comment that out to get correct exposures.

On another topic, are we free to commit to your svn branch?

I've downloaded your branch and see that it does differ there.  There are other differences as well such as the SetScriptMode address in stubs_entry_2.s and levent_table in stubs_min.S

Yes, i've commited the older version from Kibab, without changes from the diff in your reply #67.

There are also some other differences i made to make it "trunk conform":
    - tools/gensigs.sh (shell ident)
    - in makefile.inc: ifndef OSTYPE <--> ifndef NONEXISTENT (doesn't make sense to me)

On the free assembla space the permission settings are restricted (complete space - all or nothing); there are also other branches and an sensitive autobuild mechanism on the chdkde svn server...so i suggest, that you post the diff files & i'll commit them asap.

BTW - could you post future patch/diff files in "unified diff" format ? (sample view)

    *EDIT:
...unpacking "msh_sx120is_chdk.rar" from reply #67 gives me CRC errors...

I'll have to look into how to do that.  My normal development doesn't involve generating diff files so I just let winmerge do what it wanted.

I re-uploaded the source. The previous upload must have been interrupted and I didn't notice.

Here's a new unified patch file

    Update: fe50t changeset #214 with disabled exp_drv_task & michaelh99's SetScriptMode / levent_table addresses.

    Test packages (sx120 1.00b BETA2):
Note: Firmware Update loading method may be broken & won't work yet

    Hello devs,
I have  the same version of sx120
    "" Firmware version GM1.00B  NoError  ""
but this autobuild doesn't work on my camera.
It just shut down when I confirm "Firmware update in the menu".

What does Fe50 mean by "Firmware Update loading method may be broken & won't work yet"
Is there any problem with the packages in post #77 ?

    Thanks.

PS: I tried to boot with CHDK and it works, so the problem should be in "PS.FI2" file
