sorry for the delay - presumably you no longer need my editor, but it works for me (the "Save as CFG") on both Mac and Windows. Was tere any sort of error message in the status line?

oh, oops. yeah, there was. it disappears after i start selecting stuff, though, which i was rather eager to do.

Error - unknown entry id=19268

It does - means that your CFG file had an entry my program didn't expect. Probably because I haven't updated the program since early in the year and CHDK updates mean that CFG files have been extended since then. Will fix!
