I am having trouble remembering all the chdk instructions for the A650
Would it be possible to put in a help or even just copy instructions so they can be referred to?

You can use the text reader for this. However, I suspect most people will find reading a lot of information off the camera screen annoying. You might be better off getting one of the PDF guides and printing it.

You can also convert the pdf user guide to jpg format, e. g. photoshop does that for you. Attention, the jpg format should be corresponds to the camera jpg format. Rename the pictures in format IMG_0001.JPG, IMG_0002.JPG and so on. Then copy the pictures to the empty sd card in folder \DCIM\100CANON.

It is also possible copy the exif data for the right orientation in the pictures. Then you can better read the document.
