camera and 1xxCANON folders

Is there a possibility that the camera accepts a self-created folder a:\DCIM\1xxCANON as the current image folder?

Folders that I created on a PC or with a script (Lua os.mkdir) will not be accepted.

Must be observed other parameters?

There must be at least one image in that folder, named with a valid (Canon) filename *; after power-on the camera should recognize this image, the next images should then be stored with ascending numbers in the filename.

Thx for the fast answer.

Ok, then i must copy also a valid image file in the new directory. That's not so good. :o

Maybe there is another solution. I will try something.
