CHDK on S3IS for remote USB shutter control = FAIL ???

I'm shooting an S3IS with firmware version 1.00a. I've constructed a "joystick" style remote USB cable release. I've downloaded, unzipped and installed on my SD card CHDK s3is-100a-0.9.8-816-full. I'm using AllBest Build 50, according to the splash screen. The memory card is a Sandisk Extreme III with 2GB capacity and 20MB/sec record speed.

On the FAQ page it says "After loading of CHDK program you will get the following functionality:" and lists a number of features including "USB cable remote shutter release." At the end of that listing it says "These features work on all camera models supported by CHDK." (emphasis added)

Now the problem. Under "Enable built-in CHDK remote support" on http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/USB_Remote_Cable the instructions say to make the following choices on the alt Menu: Main Menu > Miscellaneous Stuff > Remote Parameters > Enable Remote.  No "Remote Parameters" choice appears in the menu list under Misc. Stuff.  ?!?

So. What am I missing? I've followed all CHDK directions to the letter, and yet the feature I most want to use is not even appearing.

Please, anybody - where do I go from here?

The remote switch option may be in the Scripts menu for AllBest.

You got it in one!  Many thanks, Microfunguy -- now my handy little remote cable works fine, and I'm a happy camper. Your response is much MUCH appreciated!
