Now, the SD_READONLY flag is ok, and i can take pictures.

The CHDK menu flickers, and sometimes it's not coming up, and sometimes it is not centered vertically.

Excellent.

It is normal for the menu to get overwritten when the canon screen updates. Pressing up or down should make most of it redraw.

Thanks. :) Is it normal, when i press the menu button both the chdk and the canon menu comes up?

Yes, vertically it is sometimes centered, somtimes at lower position. I need to see a normal chdk now, i look forward youtube videos..

No need to forward me the videos, I know what the problem is, I had it too.
Your bitmap buffer length is too small, there are actually two buffers. So you need to make the buffer length bigger. vid_get_bitmap_buffer_height should return more than it does. In my case, it is 30 more.

Regarding your canon and chdk menus coming up at the same time, check your keysmask.

I was wondering, does your screen update properly with the chdk menu on? For example, if you go from a big menu into a small menu, is the big menu still showing partially?
