I was wondering, does your screen update properly with the chdk menu on? For example, if you go from a big menu into a small menu, is the big menu still showing partially?
Most of the time the big menu still showing partially. When i enter to a sub-menu, with few items in it, the main menu remaining part still visible. However, as i told before, i never used CHDK, so i don't know, if this is the intended work. Sometimes, the big menu disappears, and only the small menu visible.

What Reyalp says, is annoying that the menu is overwritten when the canon screen updates. It disappears after 5-7 seconds when not moving. Moving up or down it appears quickly.

It worked for me also! However, now the big menu is not showing when i enter to a small menu, but the canon screen update is more often.. I must push cursor buttons to see the menu after pressing the set (to back from submenu)

Yes, that's the normal behaviour I think. But it's better than having the CHDK menu displayed when inactive, even in shoot mode..

Replace with ldreq
Both adr and ldr are macros, not real instructions. They do more or less the same thing, but differently.

Ok, thx. I downloaded your vip source again, but i see your sub boot.c is very old, this mounter function is still the original sx10. If you update, you can save a lots of questions. :)

When using IDA, you should disable generating macros...

options -> general -> analysis -> processor specific analysis options > uncheck 'enable macros'.

Sure, here is an updated version, I also modified the propset2.h , you might find it useful (assuming your camera uses the same props as mine).
