mine has 1.00e, so i really don't have any way to get it going without a dump. however, if you dump your camera i can probably do a port pretty quickly. or, if someone wants to donate a sd800 that has 1.00d on it =)

i have fw 1.00d in my sd800 and ... the beta 2 for 1.00e works great !!

 i tried to install the beta 2 for the 1.00e version and i was surprised finding out  that it works  as well !!

also raw works on 1.00d !!

great job !!

my best compliments to the authors !!!!

I uploaded the latest version of chdk and noticed something weird in the RAW files (I saved it as a .CR2)

According to the EXIF data, I used a Canon Powershot A620 and the photo was taken on December 1, 1969.

hi - hasn't been much action here lately, just want to confirm - is chdk working?  firing on all pistons?

I've been wanting to upgrade to an sd800IS but can't give up my sd500 until I know chdk is good on it.  Thank you all for your work so far, have wanted the wide lens and upped MP on this model for a while now.

I have used the 1.50-148-ixus850-100e-57 which installs. What is not clear from the PDF manual is how to enter the <ALT> mode on the SD800. What button do I use?

Using firmware from ixus850_sd800_100e_beta_2-sources.zip on my IXUS 850 IS,
works fine regarding raw & scripts (as well as zebra, histogram...)

But no overwritten features available (overwriting exposure for instance, replacing the ixus default values with the chdk ones, to go over 15sec...) - or did I misuse the piece of software ?

Anyway, great work, time-lapse and HDR finally possible thanks to scripting :-)

Using beta 2, it seems the exposure override works.  Can't seem to set it to 64 though.  50.8 works though.

A build from february is positively ancient, in CHDK terms  :D

unless you're into CHDK archaeology, I would check out something newer:

Hi all,

Running firmware http://mighty-hoernsche.de/bins/ixus850_sd800-100e-0.9.9-858-full.zip on my Ixus,
I still can't shoot with manually setting exposure, distance, DOP... the camera crashes (shut down).

Is there a firmware for the 850 IS full working ?
