Canon G9 - Help with override shutter speed setting

Hey all,

I just found out about CHDK a few days ago and I really like what i've read about it so far.  I got it setup on my G9 and went through the dummies guide, but i'm having issues getting the shutter speed override option working.  I got it to work once for an extended exposure, but I cant get it to function again.  I saw the time setting in the top left corner of the LCD.

- im pressing the alt button
- going to extra photo operations
- changing the override shutter speed option to my selection
- pressing the alt button to exit, and then pressing the shutter button

What am I doing wrong along the way?  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi zoog, welcome to the forum.

Apart from 'Override shutter speed', you also need to set up
'Value Factor' and 'Shutterspeed enum type' properly
Please get the User Guide (link in my sig) and check the
relevant section
