Menus, on-screen displays and layout-editor display correctly in any camera orientation and navigation keys operate as expected.
The camera may be horizontal, inverted, vertical and rotated left or vertical and rotated right.
New and simpler on-screen displays have been provided, the current-selection is easily changed in <ALT> mode using left/right buttons.
You can instantly:-
Measure the subject near and far distances using the telephoto-setting as a rangefinder and see required aperture and resulting deviation.
As above but using distances that you manually enter.
Display nearest-distance when infinity is included in the image (at your camera spacing and current zoom-setting).
Check camera distance-measurement using the telephoto-setting as a rangefinder and see how lens-to-sensor distance varies with zoom..
Measure subject-depth using telephoto-setting as rangefinder and indicate deviation with bargraph.
Manually enter subject-depth and indicate deviation with bargraph.
Manually enter subject-depth and see shift required of a single camera for maximum depth.
In <ALT> mode, pressing FuncSet will then focus the lens at the optimum distance (on most cameras).
As above but using distances that you manually enter.
At a measured subject-distance, show near and far points that are in-focus and resulting deviation if they also define the subject-depth.
