Is it possible to change focus when recording movie?

Hi all! I noticed when I was recording movies with A720 IS that it's not possible to set focus when using canon's firmware, is there a possibility to do that with CHDK?

It would be really cool if it could be used as a webcam as well, how often can you take pictures using the usb as a remote?
