in replaymode i see a firmware update-function from 1.0.1.0 to 1.1.0.0. should i do this? i still do not understand it. where does it come from? i only used chdk-software until now. thanks

If you're sure you did not put anything else than the chdk-files there, then it wil just restart and load chdk if you choose to "update".
(assuming it has the same behavior as my a540)

Camera sees chdk as firmware update, and shows it in the menu.
