@mattkime,
good to see someone looking into this, well done.
when you get to the "CHDK for Dummies" the existing  text ....

A different version of CHDK is needed for different firmware versions of that camera.
Modern digital cameras contain tiny computers.  The firmware tells the computer how to drive the various functions of the camera.  CHDK uses the firmware that comes with your camera, so CHDK for the SX200 firmware version 1.00c should not be installed on an SX200 running firmware version 1.00d.

could be confusing, the SX200 100c and 100d actually use the same code. The difference between the firmware versions does not affect CHDK code.
The autobuild just copies 100c code into another zip file and calls it 100d.
CHDK version will show 100c when loaded.
As this is for "Dummies" maybe using a different camera as an example would be better.

Thanks for all your work on the Wiki.

I am terribly sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place, but it seem appropriate? I just tried to post a thank you note, using the link on the thank you page to add my thanks, and the spam filter flagged the word "thanks" as spam and deleted my note.

In the meantime, please let me give all the people putting the effort into CHDK a big vote of thanks!(There, I said it! :) )
Regards,
Dan

SD780, SX200, SX1, SD890 and SD980 - O.K. Way too many cameras, not enough photos!
