hello everyone:
sorry if I'm posting a question that may have been answered before, but I just got CHDK going on my SD700IS and I can't believe how neat this whole thing is :)

I downloaded the user guide, but I'm not sure I understand how to load a new script. I'm specifically interested in doing high speed flash photo (ie drops of water, etc)

Can someone please point me in the right direction on where to find this script and how to load it?

thanks

You don't need a script for that - just set up the value in the CHDK "Extra Photo Operations" menu -> http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_User_Manual#Override_shutter_speed

CHDK scripts are plain text files, just store them in the \CHDK\SCRIPTS\ folder on your SD card, then
load them from the CHDK "Scripting parameters" menu: Manual: Scripting Parameters.

To write own scripts or to use sample code (e.g. from the CHDK wikia), use a text editor (e.g. the Windows Notepad),
store the files with .bas (for uBasic) or .lua (for Lua scripts) as filename extension; use
ANSI coding (unicode will not work).

For MD (motion detection) you should use this script: Fast MD with burst/preview mode by fudgey.

Have fun with CHDK !
