I plan to get one of the SX cameras soon. Though I have no experience with CHDK, I am a developer who is very familiar with real-time operating systems and Lua, and I've written code for digital cameras. (My code runs in this baby:

Which SX model should I get? The SX1, SX10 or SX20?
I was initially drawn to the SX1 because of its faster continuous frame rate and RAW mode. But CHDK gives everyone RAW mode.
I like the SX10 because it is cheaper than the SX1, and has CHDK support. With CHDK installed, what differences remain between the SX1 and the SX10? In particular, how is the continuous frame rate affected?
I like the SX20 because it is cheaper than either the SX1 or SX10 (go figure). The lack of a CHDK release is an issue, but one I may be able to help with.
I checked out the SX20 porting thread: The SDHC partition issues also push me away from the SX20, since I don't want to be limited to small SDHC cards. Though since this is not an issue with the SX10 (at least up to 16GB cards), I assume this is an early porting issue. The SX1 appears to have the best SDHC partition support, right? Or can I swap SDHC cards after CHDK starts, making this a non-issue?
While I do want to help with CHDK development, what I want most is the best camera for the money.
