Hi, about 6months ago i recieved a Canon A470 that wasn't working... And therein lies the problem. I have no idea why it doesn't work, tried putting batteries in, took it apart to see if anything had shorted out but nothing out of the ordinary.
Is there a way of assessing any damage? Like plugging in a USB cable and running a program on the computer?
Any help is good, otherwise i'll probably chuck it unless theres something useful i can do with it.

Edit: Ok that was wierd. Plugged in batteries and usb and it switched on. Nothing to see here
