Hmm, now i have to build the hw to receive the data and calibratethe DELAY_COUNT in the blink_rom routine.

What exactly are you actually building, ERR99? A UART receiver like intendet to do?

Currently i try the phototransistor way, i found a old mouse and connected one of the phototransistors to the mic-input on my computer. But the signal is very weak, i will see if its still enough for a successfull firmware dump.

At now is was also able to find the adresses of two more LEDs and i think if found also the adress to switch off the camera (the dumper uses the switch off at end of work, so you know it is finished ;) ).
LED exposure compensation dial: 0xC0220128
LED ISO dial: 0xC022012C

There is still a lot of work to do. ;)

I cannot tell you the wiring because I do not have the Ipod lead, you have to tell me.

Do you have a test meter ?

If not, is the jack-plug sealed or can you unscrew the outside to see how the wires are connected  ?

Soon be my bedtime  .....

My receiver hw is not working, the soundcard of my laptop is so noise that i cant see any difference between the received signal and the base noise. Also my try to build a com-port receiver does not work, maybe i need a "real" comport and not a usb-serial adapter? (My Laptop does not have any comports).

Maybe someone else has more sucess dumping the firmware, for the comport dumping i added two G11 FI2 files
(for the two flash areas as descriped in the wik, 0xFF800000..0xFFA00000 and 0xFFA00000..0xFFC00000) based on the dumper from "Blinker_Java_Version_by_Syrius\by_grand_blink_g7".

Simply put one of the files on the SD-Card, start camera with PLAY button, press MENU,press UP and the "Func Set" to select the "Firm Update..." Menu and select "OK" to start the dumper. After a few seconds the AF-Light will go on, and a few seconds later the blinking/dumping process starts.

My receiver hw is not working

You need to get that working.

What circuit are you using ?

there should be a decription online somwhere...

I do not understand what you are saying.

You do not need a description.

Cut the cable near the earphone end so that you have a jack plug with a reasonable length of wire attached.

Using a testmeter, determine which part of the plug each wire connects to.

Post your results.
