Custom Image resolution???

I have been using the sunset scripts with great success and making some great timelapse videos!

However, I like to render the videos in widscreen HD (1920 x 1080).

The Widscreen image resolution option keeps me from having to crop the images.

However, the resolution is far to large: W = 3264 x 1832. I can get 2000+ photos from a single shooting at 3264 x 1832 resolution and each is 2-3MB in size.

I tend to batch re-size down to 1920 x 1080, but the originals take up much space and the resizing is a timely process (even as a batch).

Is there a way to set/script a custom resolution?

Currently, I am only aware of the defaults:
Image resolution ---> 0,1,2,4,8 for L,M1,M2,S,W

I would love to set 1920 x 1080 for the photos!!! Then I would not need to crop or resize. I would also like to think it would also use far less space (MB).

No, we cannot set custom resolutions. I doubt  this will ever be possible. CHDK could save cropped RAW, but that won't help your space problems!
Don't forget what the H stands for.
