My 3D, Hi-Def video, "Blessing of the Animals" will be shown on Monday, January 18th, 2010 at the 21st annual Stereoscopic Displays and Applications Convention in San Jose, CA:

This excerpt of a longer work in progress documents the celebration of St. Francis of Assisi, founder of the Franciscan order of monks and a friend of all animals. As part of this celebration, a diverse selection of animals - yak, reindeer, camel, donkey, tortoise, ducks, swans, Golden Eagle, Barn Owl, hawks, Macaws, monkeys, etc. - are brought into the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City and individually blessed by the Reverend Fathers. After a grand procession, personal pets of all varieties are individually blessed outside the cathedral.

Music has been provided by the Paul Winter Consort for the past 29 years.

The 2009 stereo theater screenings included my 3D, Hi-Def video of Coney Island's "Mermaid Parade" and I'm proud to be included again this year.
