Hey Falchor,
Does your S5IS crash when using MD with video capture set at the 640 with Jucifox builds
Original Allbest #51 works fine but juciphox just wont do it.
This is the main reason I use CHDK is for surveillance but cannot use the latest build, really annoying.
I've tried all the MD versions but same result

did you try disabling your lcd monitor and setting to script?

"did you try disabling your lcd monitor and setting to script?"

Yeah tried,"script,alt and no"
I'm fairly sure the new CHDK video settings are screwing it up but they are not implemented in the S5IS,untill they are I think this problem will stay.
I have no video settings in the chdk menu, what I've been told this is normal, but strangely, recording video normaly I can change the bitrate, but it has no effect
I'll stay with Allbest #51 till things get sorted out

Im trying to get a nice shot of  shooting a lightbulb with a bb gun.
3 bulbs in and it kinda worked... need to not zoom in as much so i get some chunks of glass .
quick question tho a720 is  how do you turn off noise reduction ?

If you want to try to catch the bullet hitting the glass or the very first milliseconds after impact, you'll need to make the camera trigger well before the bullet hits. That needs some setting up. You can use MD to trigger from something other than the bulb (like a flashlight in the scene somewhere) or USB remote trigger (my recommendation), either setup fired from e.g. your gun's trigger. Or for a quick fix, try putting a balloon in the bullet's way, it probably has enough energy left to break the bulb after. May not help enough, though.

In CHDK RAW settings menu. It only turns off dark frame reduction, though, but that's probably what you ment.

I use S2IS & CHDK Autobuild 0.6.6, revision #544.
I put 'MDFB-080914-VideoButtonModels.bas' in the script folder of CHDK.
I tried to load the script (main menu>scripting parameters>load script from file)
Nothing happens.
It seems the .bas is not recognised by CHDK

Are you actually starting the script? In normal REC mode, press and release the ALT button and then shoot. See wiki for general CHDK script usage instructions.
