installed. when i begin to rec i pressed button under button "play" and than zoom +. i saw blue screen with some settings. 1st was manual focus. i used on and off - nothing changed.

That's something different, the CHDK focus override.
You may need to assign a button to be the "AF key" during recording:
Navigate to "Video parameters" -> "AF key" in the CHDK menu and choose a button (use the left/right button for selection). It can probably be either the "shutter" or "SET". I recommend "SET". After you've done that, start a vdeo recording and press "SET". The cam will either do a focus scan or crash... Lets hope it's the former.

there is no af key in video par
just
- video mode
- bitrate
- quality
- clear vid par
- vid qual control
- enable optical zoom
- show rem time
- refreshrate

Then you probably aren't using my test version. Copy diskboot.bin from my zip to the root of the card. And remove ps.fi2 from the card, so you don't accidentally start that ;)

2 more wishes. is it possible to make af without key? and second is - when i begin to rec in normal, during recording i cannot focus to macro. is it possible to change between macro, normal and far modes during rec?

yes. it is working. anyway many many thx for your job and explanation how to do this. hope that some one will make smth to change from macro to normal during call.
for example - you are recording some nature. many trees, lake... and than you saw little small strange stone or smth else. you want to rec it too and dont want to stop recording. but you have:(

heh. what we have with sd card.
2 patritions. canon dc (fat 16) and photos (fat 32). fat 16 has letter H but photos has not. using computer manager, acronis disk director, paragon partition manager i cannot set the letter to see this disk in my pc. canon dc 16 mb fat16 i can see but photo fat 32 i cannot see in my pc.
i just formated this part by acronis - nothing changed. camera see but pc via cardreader - dont
