There is almost no chance to make the same CHDK to work on different models. See Canon PowerShot SD750 (IXUS 75) 3" Display Firmware 1.02a .

after changing the camera code to 0x3155 the camera shows the firmware update from 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.1.0 dialog. i agreed and after about 1 or 2 seconds the camera goes on but nothing changed. typing func/set and disp shows the old firmware version 1.0.0.0.

oohh, it seems to be not that easy....  ;-(

Ok as GrAND said, the chance that the other firmware works is really low, but:
as I think, It could save a bit of development-work to have a similar model working
I should have said it more clearly: (Warning:...) That ment that it is prabably or for us as optimists perhaps
useless work.

Many thanks for A460 port of CHDK!  I discovered CHDK by pure accident while browsing Wikipedia two months ago, and have been waiting for A460 release since then.  Having no money for any better model, I was already trying to use it pretty creatively (like shooting with a manually-synced Soviet-made external flash).  RAW shooting and scripts are going to be really useful.

I can confirm that Tv/Av/ISO overrides do not work, hanging the camera instead, and I hope it won't be too long before a RAW converter which works with A460 will be available.  Everything else seems fine. Keep up the good work!  :)

Includes all fixes described bellow + working "Video params" menu + 1GB video limit removed
