Successfully Tested with SD900.

Obviously it does not include SD4000 / 300HS yet  ;).

You could try replacing exiftool.exe with the latest version (8.27, here: http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/)
Kind of surprising that Canon changed their Maker Notes format, though - do you get ANY info on your JPG from the program ?

ACID (http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/acid/acid.html) correctly identifies photos taken with an SD4000 - I just downloaded a photo from Flickr to test it (this one: millipedes)
