Lock wheel and buttons on back of G9

Hey, I like to shoot one handed with my G9.  But the buttons on the back get mashed by my hand and invariably change the settings.  I'd like a key combination to lock the buttons on the back of the camera, but still allow shooting.  Thoughts?
