Got interested in CHDK while trying to back up all my hotel reservations, travel reservations, and tour reservations as JPEG images to be viewed on my camera...

So instead as a backup I could always just look at my camera and view all these things, instead of worrying about my book worth of papers I made copies of.

Now is there anyway to take these created JPEG's that I converted from PDF and view them with CHDK, I already have the fireware working just fine on my SD1000 and love the possibilties with this program!

Welcome !

Take any  640x480 image with your camera and load into an image-editing programme.
load your reservation JPG, resize to 640x480 and paste over the JPG from the camera.
Save the JPG.

Sounds like with this method you don't even need CHDK is that right?

Only asking because my new camera isn't compatable, was planning on just doing this all with my older camera that is.

And do you have a link or could you go into a little more detail about this.   I have photoshop.

Thanks so much!!!!!!

Yes.

No, what more can I say ... you simply paste the required image over any image taken with the camera.
I used PSP and pasted as a layer and then saved.

You may want to use an image from the camera that is bigger than 640x480 so that you can zoom and read the detail.
