Hello,
I have a Powershot SD300 that takes pictures and videos just fine. All buttons seem to work on it. Using a 2GB freshly formatted SD card and a USB/SD card reader I extracted ixus40_sd300-100j-0.9.9-875-full.zip(done it with the j version also) to the card. Here's TREE for the root:

Here's the EXIF data from a photo taken with this camera:
Equipment Make: Canon
Camera Model: Canon PowerShot SD300
Maximum Lens Aperture: f/2.8
Sensing Method: One-Chip Color Area
Lens Size: 5.80 - 17.40 mm
Firmware Version: Firmware Version 1.00
I put the camera in Playback mode with the SD card in place and turned it on.
I press 'Func Set' and get Nothing.
I press 'Func Set' then 'Disp' and get Nothing.
I press 'Menu' and can browse to the 'Firm Update' section. It says:"Update firmware version? 1.0.0.0 --> 1.0.1.1" Cancel or Ok.
I can't seem to get the CHDK working. Any idea why?
I really want to do time lapse photography and would love to get this running quickly.
Thanks in advance!
Tim
