Hi there,
I have a SX200IS camera, with build "D" running

I notice everytime i take a RAW picture ithe file sizes are always 17.7 mb (which i though was odd, but ok).

But then i try and open the files in DNG4PS-2 or Photoline, and it will not recogize the files.

Can someone help me with this please?
Thanks

Can you open them with http://irfanview.com/ ?
That may help you determine if the raw files are good.
If they open fine with Irfanview then Photoline, the SX200IS, your chdk version, could be the problem.
I hope this helps.

See also the sticky thread in the raw forum http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php/board,15.0.html

CHDK ".crw" raw is not a normal format that you should expect other programs to understand. Programs generally need to be updated to support raws from new cameras. In camera DNG may be a better option.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
