hey

 i am really new to the CHDK thing and dont know much about computer language..so i need help in enabling my canon A470 to take at least 20 fps or the maximum it can??

--> Not possible due to the camera's hardware limitations.

You'll get the max. fps rate for still images in the camera's continuous mode (~1.9 images per second for tha A470, according to the Canon data sheets); CHDK is not necessary therefore, CHDK can't increase the fps rate.

...and video mode will of course work if its quality suffices for your purposes.
