Would it be possible to provide some Custom Mode Presets such as is available on some cameras.  My main interest is the SX200, but I assume this would be useful for others, as well.  Perhaps in the CHDK menu an option to Save or Restore all the camera settings .. ISO, f-stop, WB, Color settings, etc.

Is there any hope something like this could be implemented for cameras that don't already have 'Custom' presets?

Yes, it shouldn't be terribly hard. You might be able to get the same effect with scripting, now that script can control capture modes.

Of course, it wouldn't be integrated into the canon UI like cameras that have an actual C mode in the canon firmware.
