I'm having slow response time between pictures in Raw Mode.
Is it worth it to purchase a top of the line SD card like a SanDisk Extreme III x200 (New Version 30MB/sec) card for my camera, a Canon SX110is with CHDK v1.00b, or is it overkill?
My concern is that the processor, a Digic III, will cap out with a lower rated card.
That's got me considering buying a cheaper x133 version, which are much less?
Thoughts?
Update So it appears that that the cap is 15MB/sec on Digic III processors according to this article:
http://blogs.ngm.com/digital_photography/2008/08/sandisk-sd-extr.htmlAt the bottom I quote:
"Though the Canon EOS 1D MKIII and EOS1Ds MKIII both have SD recording slots, the DIGIC III processor in these cameras will pump out only 15MB/s. Perhaps the next two Canon pre-Photokina camera announcements will be equipped with DIGIC 4 image processors, able to take advantage of the SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s edition."
