Hello,

I have a G11. The G11 has a rotating LCD screen (that rotates about the X-axis).

Now if you rotate the screen and position it such that the LCD faces away from you, in the direction of the lens, what you see on the screen is a mirror omage of what the lens sees.

However, if you rotate it back into the 'normal' position where the LCD faces you, away from the lens direction, then you simply see what lies beyond the lens, and nothing is mirrored.

Is there a way of controlling this switch via a script?

No, at least not in the regular CHDK builds.
